Voice Weavers have accepted the opportunity to perform in a mass sing supporting the Help is on its Way Project, a national choral initiative fostering a dialogue around mental health, particularly for our men and boys.
The Help is on its Way Project, developed by QMF Artistic Director Katie Noonan, offers an opportunity to join a national initiative fostering a dialogue around mental health, raising awareness of available services and encouraging help-seeking behaviours, particularly for our men and boys. We are reaching out across the nation with an inclusive and open invitation for individuals and choirs of all levels, abilities and sizes to learn the powerful hit, ‘Help is on its Way’ by Glenn Shorrock.
The project will culminate in mass choral event to be held in Brisbane on Saturday 27 July 2019. This profound and transformative opportunity to hear a choir of thousands will be led by acclaimed conductor, Dr Jonathon Welch AM, with a special guest appearance by two-time ARIA Hall of Fame inductee, Glenn Shorrock, as well as QMF Artistic Director, Katie Noonan and many more.
The Help is on its Way project is presented by Queensland Music Festival and Brisbane City Council with the support of the Australia Council for the Arts.
Voice Weavers will also be performing for this event on Wednesday 24th July at 7:30pm at The Centre in Beaudesert, 82 Brisbane St, Beaudesert QLD 4285.
